π² Kabocha Squash Porridge (Soft & Comforting)
This kabocha squash porridge is warm, creamy, and very comforting. It’s perfect for a light meal or a cozy side dish on a cold day.
π₯£ Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup mashed kabocha squash
- 1 cup sweet rice (soaked)
π©π³ Instructions
- Add water, mashed kabocha squash, and soaked sweet rice into a cooking pot. Stir everything well with a spatula.
- Turn the heat to high and bring it to a boil.
- Remove the lid and stir frequently to prevent sticking or burning.
- Once it boils for 2–3 minutes, lower the heat to low. Cover the pot with a lid and continue cooking. Stir often while it simmers.
- Cook for about 20–25 minutes, until the rice becomes soft and the porridge turns thick and smooth.
- Add salt, sugar, or both to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
