 Steamed skate is a simple and healthy seafood dish that brings out the fish's natural flavor. Paired with a savory and tangy seasoning sauce, this recipe is easy to prepare and perfect for a family meal. Ingredients For the Skate 1 piece skinned skate (about 3 Lbs) For the Seasoning Sauce 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes 1/2 tablespoon chopped green onion 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil 1/2 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds 1/2 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (or garlic powder) 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice Instructions Wash the skate thoroughly and place it in the steamer basket of a rice cooker. This microwave version is simple and convenient, making it perfect for a quick side dish or a light meal. The imitation crab meat and vegetables add extra flavor and color. Ingredients 3 eggs 1½ cups water 1 cup imitation crab meat, chopped ¼ cup onion, chopped ¼ cup carrot, finely chopped 1 teaspoon salt Instructions In a microwave-safe container, combine the eggs, water, imitation crab meat, onion, carrot, and salt.  When I want a quick and comforting meal, I often make this simple Udon Noodle Soup with Oden. The savory broth, chewy udon noodles, and soft egg make a delicious combination. It is easy to prepare and perfect for lunch or a light dinner. Ingredients 1 egg 2½ cups water ½ package Oden Set (9.7 oz package) 1 serving udon noodles (from a Korean market) ½ packet broth seasoning from the Oden Set A little green onion, chopped Instructions Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Cut the Oden into bite-sized pieces. Add the Oden pieces to the boiling water, then add the udon noodles. Add the broth seasoning packet, if desired, for a richer flavor. It’s perfect for a light meal or a cozy side dish on a cold day. 🥣 Ingredients 3 cups water 1 cup mashed kabocha squash 1 cup sweet rice (soaked) 👩‍🍳 Instructions Add water, mashed kabocha squash, and soaked sweet rice into a cooking pot. Stir everything well with a spatula. Turn the heat to high and bring it to a boil. Remove the lid and stir frequently to prevent sticking or burning. Once it boils for 2–3 minutes, lower the heat to low. Cover the pot with a lid and continue cooking. Stir often while it simmers. They make a delicious side dish and are easy to prepare with just a few ingredients. Ingredients 26 perilla leaves ¾ cup water 1 cup Korean pancake mix Cooking oil  Instructions In a mixing bowl, combine the Korean pancake mix and water. Stir well until the batter is smooth. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of cooking oil. Coat each perilla leaf with batter. Place two coated leaves together to make one pancake.
