Steamed Skate

Ingredients
For the Skate
1 piece skinned skate (about 3 Lbs)
For the Seasoning Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped green onion
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (or garlic powder)
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash the skate thoroughly and place it in the steamer basket of a rice cooker.
- Turn on the rice cooker and steam until the fish is fully cooked.
- Check the thickest part of the fish. If there is no blood and the meat is opaque, it is done.
- Pour the seasoning sauce onto a serving plate and place the steamed skate on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
